Canada was approaching from a distance as we were exiting Vermont…
We saw the border approaching from a distance.
We were blessed with sleeping kids! (I want to remember the sleeping and laughing part because parts of the ride was a little challenging!)
And then we crossed the border and finally made it to Quebec. We still had a 4 hour drive to Quebec City, but we were relieved and happy that we finally reached Canada.
Our Canadian adventure finally began when we reached the house that we rented for this vacation! The house was built in the 1800s and features the typical Quebec elegance with an updated twist.

Thank you John! It’s been an interesting vacation so far. This is our 3rd year in a row going to Quebec City so it is wonderful just being back.
