I love estate sales, vintage and thrift shopping. On a weekly basis I would like to feature my favorite “find” of the week.
In a previous blog I mentioned my life as a treasure hunter. I crave for my vintage fixes.
This week I found an authentic Kina Lillet French poster by Robys. This is not the typical poster shop print but the high-end art grade printing that was professionally framed. This is a large piece of art that is 29 x 32.5 inches in size.
I was thinking of selling this poster, but it makes me smile too much. It greets all visitors at my front door. The colors are so vibrant and I love the “joie de vivre” (joy of life) of the subject.
Coincidentally my husband Michael has always wanted a vintage French liquor poster. He was floored when he saw this beauty hanging from our walls.
In another post I’ll show some of the items that I have brought home that Michael has not loved so much, but will tolerate because of his love for me!
I really believe that if you know what you are looking for you can make someone’s trash into treasure! I feel like that about life too…you can make a challenge into a blessing…it’s all perspective.
I hope you have a wonderful day filled with joy and happiness!
Yes, wine will always give you joie de vivre 🙂
Hi Angela, you are too funny. When are you planning to come and visit?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder…this applies to things and people. We are all beautiful in the eye of the Creator.
